Truism

The purpose of a blog is to have people read it.

Just a thought I had while reading through some blogs.

It isn't a private journal. It isn't just a vent for bottled up steam. It is a platform to stand up and say, "Look at me, this is what I have to say."
(or in some cases, "Look at me, I'm so smart!" Haa haa)

It is a place where freedom of speech and thought is practised. And it is in the quest for such a non-judgemental environment that the blogger population has grown to its current level.

It is very easy for me or any of you out there to say, "I don't care if no one reads this.".
But the truth is, I do. And so do you.

I don't know about that. I must admit it feels nice when people read what I write or look at my photos but for me its just an opportunity to keep at those two things and simultaneously build an online repository of my thoughts, ideas, work etc. I think it can be both.

if 2 is 1 and 1 is 2 and repression of duality leads to discrimination, why do you call yourself woman?

Sudden question! May I ask what provoked it?

Heh...so typical of you to ask a question instead of answering the first one.
